Vaz Oliver makes music that makes a room go quiet.
Madrid-born and Berlin-based, he is a singer-songwriter and performer with a voice of rare purity — the kind that makes a room hold its breath. His concerts are cinematic and disarmingly intimate — tender and sharp in equal measure.
Over a fifteen-year career he has played 400+ concerts across Europe, North America and China — from intimate clubs to theatres and open-air stages. Alongside his work as a performing artist, he composes original music for contemporary circus and theatre productions. His live score for Berlin, Symphony of a Metropolis — Walter Ruttmann's 1927 silent film — has been performed at theatres and film festivals since 2021.
His new album, Los Tiempos, is out 1 May 2026. A new record, The Shore, follows later in 2026.
